    The Lasting Influence of Beatnik Literature

    Did 60s literature do anything more than tell us about what the 60s were like or are there actual life lessons to be learned about from the adventures they went on and the stories they wrote.

      That’s exactly how I felt about it. I’m okay with suspending my disbelief but that may have to do with the fact that I’m a college kid not living in New York, so I guess I can understand how an actual young New Yorker may watch the show and think “well how is any of this happening.”
      I do agree with you though, part of the show is not questioning everything and just taking what the artists give us for what it is worth

      How I Met Your Mother: Are We All Living A Boring Life?

      Guardians of the Galaxy was really good, but there were some random forced relationships on it. For example the love affair in the movie seemed kinda random and I barely understood the progression into it. The deep friendship between Drax and Groot seemed to come up out of nowhere too.
      I will say, however, that Groot and Rocket had a really organic and easy to love friendship
