Bad Exports

A series of analyses on the cultural influence created by the exported media from the west. This appears to me to be a subtext of The Act of Killing (2012), where the gangsters claim many ideas from American gangster films. I think there is also room for arguments here examining the ideas of "fairness" in South Central Asia’s filmmaking industry is related to representations and technologically induced bias in the films exported from the West.
