Culturally, gender norms, societal norms and social stratospheres change how characters are portrayed in most media. In a country with vast cultural differences, how are characters portrayed differently? There have been some great Korean remakes of American TV Dramas. How do they hold up? How do they reflect societal norms and current issues?
