So, for example, I’m an atheist, but I like the film Constantine (2005) even though it treats the Christian understanding of god, heaven, and hell as actually real. I choose to see the film as a kind of Fantasy film, in the same sense that Harry Potter treats magic as though it were real. I love the atmosphere of that film, and some of the supporting roles are excellent, especially Tilda Swinton, and Peter Stormare as an awesome interpretation of the devil.
Other films that start controversy regarding religions inaccuracies is Passion of the Christ, Noah, and The Last Temptation of Christ. – Aaron Hatch9 years ago
