Analyse the New Adult genre and the themes that arise from within it. Why has it emerged? Is it the perfect in-between YA and Adult books? Has it gained any relevance or is its popularity still growing? Could discuss if its also simply a marketing gimmick.
My question for the new adult genre is, is the distinction between adult and new adult the presence of joy? If so why is that not simply something we solve in the adult genre. – skruse3 years ago
