Fox TV has announced that they would remake the Rocky Horror Picture Show for network TV as a two-hour event special, and would be choreographed and directed by Kenny Ortega, director of the three High School Musicals. How do we feel about this? Can the Rocky Horror Picture Show be remade as a film (not talking about the stage version) ? How does the content of Rocky Horror be unsuitable for such event? What are the elements that would work/wouldn’t work for TV?
