NFL: A Bad Lip Reading
I’m not really into the whole “web video” thing. I mean, sure, there’s a hell of a lot of funny stuff on Youtube etc, and I have really gotten some great laughs from some clips I’ve seen in the past. In fact, I’d go as far as to say this Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion spoof is the single most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen (warning: only click the previous link if you’ve played Oblivion). Still, I don’t fancy myself as an expert on the subject of web video, and it’s not often I’m bowled over by one. But then one day, I stumbled upon a little gem via a friend…
The chaps over at Bad Lip Reading are responsible for some pretty entertaining videos of, you guessed it, clips that have been dubbed in accordance with misunderstood lip-reading. This video manages to make Twilight seem awesome, and somehow they’ve managed to make me love the NFL even more than I already do, with a bad lip-read of some football footage. It’s hard to pick a favourite part, but I especially enjoy Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll’s “froggy voice”.
This video still cracks me up a week (and around 20 views) later, and I think the world should see it.
Ladies and gentlemen… the NFL in all its nonsensical glory!

Sooooo funny!!
This had and still has me laughing so hard it makes me cry and everyone around me looks at me like I’m crazy. I don’t care; I still want CAKE!!! Go Pats!!!
I think this is still around today, even though the faddish nature of this has clearly faded, which implies a quality beyond its novelty.
