A nicely focused paper that is able to take a fresh take on Shakespeare in film by looking at the film in itself, without layering it with reference to the stage, history, or even previous film adaptations. | Kurzel's Macbeth: Aesthetics of a War Drama |
I like this piece, but I will say that I enjoy a nicely done trailer. Lots of bombastic, 3-minute movies are making a strong case for a movie that the studio needs to do well, and so they dress up a pig and call it a princess.
