film Write this topicHas Everything in Film Been Done Before? Is there still the opportunity to break new ground in film, or are we now in the age of "recycling". With the countless release of sequels, and the overflow of generic movie genres and motifs, is it now time to be concerned that creativity and uniqueness is dying out in the film industry?

Never got around to reading anything of Tolkien’s stuff. But the article is very thought out, and well executed. Kudos ! | Tolkien's Art and Politics: Is Middle-earth Real? |
Great piece. Very interesting read. | Social Media Profiles: A Faithful Reminder of Who We Are, and Who We Can't Be |
Long time Batman reader, however have never got around to Miller’s rendition in TDKR. However, I do like the fact that he has tried to break new ground with the character. Batman’s history is so dark, and so complex it offers new creators the opportunity to put their own spin or perspective on the character. There are hundreds of Batman titles, all unique in their own sense, while still saying true to at least the basis of the character – he has a dark past, and uses his pain as fuel to bring forth justice and hope.
