In most anime with a hero it seem that the character always is working to get stronger, but it always seems that everyone around them has these misconceptions about them. This in turn causes them to treat the hero badly. The Hero ends up getting stronger, saves the day and it seems that everyone around them still treats them like crap. No matter how much they try to save their friends, they still get treated badly. Why is this a troupe? Should it be a troupe? Why are they written as friends?
Perhaps it is because while the hero in anime struggle to become stronger they have yet to shed their stubborn and at times ditzy side of themselves. I believe that the heroes are given so much grief because in spite of all their accomplishments they're still the same deep down. – RadosianStar7 years ago
