About a year ago I watched "The Sopranos" for the first time after hearing so much about it for years. After finishing its six seasons, it felt like I had just watched the greatest television series in my life. As an avid TV viewer, I had watched tons of great series but since I’ve watched The Sopranos I felt myself comparing it to the shows I had seen in the past and present, and I just feel like nothing has really lived up to the impact that The Sopranos has imprinted. It covered such a wide variety of topics, even though it was a mob/mafia centric show, it did an excellent job adding subjects of comedy, romance, thriller, etc. What do you guys think?
Agree with seriouscourt here. Writing about how layered Tony in particular is would be interesting, and it would touch on how this isn't just another mafia show but rather a case study on this really fascinating character. – PopJ2 years ago
