*Possible spoilers for Big Bang Theory*

Really enjoyed reading this article, especially as I have the same fears as you. The wonderful thing about Season 2 was the lead up to whether Nick and Jess would or wouldn’t, and after they did I had a sense of ‘now what?’ Big Bang Theory is having this problem with every character pairing off with a girlfriend, so much so that I was relieved (although saddened) that Raj’s relationship didn’t work out too well.

I really hope the writers of New Girl don’t send Nick and Jess down the avenue of happily ever after this soon into what could be a long running and successful show.

Good review. I personally enjoyed it more so than the original but I think that’s because Jim Carrey’s performance pleasantly surprised me and Donald Faison really made me laugh. I do agree that at times some immature jokes were misplaced, but I am glad it was a fun film and didn’t take itself too seriously.

This article has given me something to think about. I’m guilty of thinking of Burton fondly because of his past creations like Edward Scissorhands and his involvement in projects such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, but never taking the time to watch his latest films. Maybe I just don’t want the magic to be spoiled for me, which I’m very afraid will happen now because of this article haha!

Thank you! One Tree Hill and other shows like that such as 90210 can be very exaggerated at times. But no one wants to watch a television show about a kid who gets up, brushes his teeth, goes to school, comes home and does his homework I guess 😛

I agree with you on the comedy aspect as the funny moments are few and far between, but in a dramatic sense I believe Skins, especially in the earlier seasons, is very powerful. If you can bring yourself to do so, watch series 2: it continues building on character arcs and the story lines develop nicely from series 1 🙂

I’m no longer a teenager (only 20 mind) but I do enjoy revisiting earlier seasons for a sense of nostalgia. ^.^

I started watching it at series 4 and was blown away by how much I enjoyed it, so getting to watch series 1-3 afterwards was an absolute pleasure. I felt series 5 and 6 were a inferior to what had come before it, and series 7 only had a few good moments. Sadly I think the Skins movies has been scrapped 🙁

Neil Gaiman is my author idol. I’ve yet to read a novel of his that I haven’t enjoyed and one of the things I do love about his work is his allusions to folklore, as well as his ability to create something catered to adult/young adult readers like American Gods while writing child friendly fiction like Stardust. Very happy to see another Gaiman fan with such a deep interest in his work!
