You mentioned that ‘older works about vampires often contain adult themes such as eroticism and murder.’ Why do you think a shift in vampire literature has occurred? Do you think it’s because today sex is a social norm, rather than taboo? | Vampires in Literature: Opera Cloaks, Sparkles, and Prevailing Themes |
I think anyone who has the guts to voice their personal opinions online should be applauded, however I am concerned that unprofessional opinions can directly damage certain brands/characters/movies that are subjected to unfair bias. I think ‘Friends’ will always be one of the best TV shows of all time. I agree that it appeals to people who are in their mid 20’s, those who, as a kid watch VHS tapes, yet now as an adult have iPhones. We, as a generation, seem to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. It’s funny, none of us could live without our phones, yet we long for a time when having everything in the palm of your hand wasn’t necessary. I love ‘Friends,’ as it’s basically about life, and enjoying life for what it is, something that many of us seem to forget about in the age of technology.
