Thank you. I agree with your point about the mass public. At the end of the day they set the trends, decide what’s popular and what’s not and that goes for films as well as technology.

I think companies like Blockbuster could have the best of both worlds, maintaining their physical film business for people who prefer to consume that way, because their is still a market there, despite it being one in decline, but they could also expand and perhaps become a competitor to companies like LoveFilm and Netflix.

Refreshing to see someone appreciate Rango, everyone I’ve spoken to hates it but with Verbinski and Depp as a combo I don’t understand how it can’t be liked! Clear to see that he took the helm of the Pirates franchise and made a film based on a ride a huge success. Mousehunt will always be one of my favourite childhood films as well, making Verbinski even more of a genius since it was his debut.

Great article! I think LEGO is nostalgic and the fact its already such a big brand makes it less of an issue if they merchandise from their film. I know my boyfriend will be very excited for the film, even as a 21 year old, because he got Lego LOTR xbox game and figures for Christmas!
