With quarantine gaming more popular than ever, Among Us has become one of the top streamed and group games. While the game does have an option to use in-game text chat, on streams in particular voice chat over Discord is used. In these streams and games, players are forced to confront each other and avert suspicion off of themselves. While gamers, especially groups of friends, have their own strategies when playing the game, do gender politics ever play into these deliberations? How are female or non-male players treated at these moments, and how does it affect gameplay?
