I agree with your points. I hope that Season 3 just furthers the with the narrative of the characters rather than becoming same-y and boring.

I didn’t exclude The Little Mermaid, it was just that the above fairy-tales span throughout literature, film and television therefore allowing the discussion of all three mediums but thank you for the feedback.

I really liked We’re The Millers. I agree with some of your comments however still think you may be staking too much on the cleaner side of their lives, when you refer to Jason and Jennifer as too clean-cut for their roles whereas I think they blend perfectly into them, as well as the interaction between them and this shows perfectly in the very last sequence of the film (those of you who have seen it will know what I’m referring to).

All in all, a good review.

OUAT is one of my favorite show at the minute, I love the detailed back-stories of each character and definitely enjoyed Season 1 straight through to their discovery of their true identities. I didn’t think Season 2 could hold up to much after such a strong opening Season but was pleasantly surprised with further depth into the characters with Snow White and the Evil Queen’s struggle within themselves. Also the added mystery of Tamara and Greg’s characters and their real intentions of taking Henry to Neverland. Great article!

Really like your choices here, Ariel made me look twice but when you think of Mermaids, the term Siren isn’t far behind and they are supposed nasty creatures.

I think Depp as an actor is remarkable but I have to say that his acting of late is becoming boring, maybe he has got to the point of riding on his previous merits, which are plentiful, I just wonder how many other roles Depp can play.

I think the point of the show’s atmosphere is mentioned slightly across all of the reasons to watch it, rather than having it as a solo point, but I definitely get what you mean.
