Interesting article – I’d never heard the terms diegetic and non-diegetic before and now that I have a basic understanding of each I’m sure I’ll be paying attention to more than just the background music the next time I go to the movies. | Importance of Diegetic and Non-Diegetic Sounds in Film |
What an excellent and thorough review of what sounds like a charming movie. I saw the trailer for it awhile ago and thought it looked fun but then sort of forgot about it – had no idea about the negative reviews! Fortunately I never let reviews decide anything for me. Your review, though, gives me some clear incentives to go see it, so thank you! | Reviving Hail, Caesar! |
Love this. Inside Out was such a fantastic film, and I think the most perfect visual representation of our emotions and how they impact our engagement with the outside world.
