A more recent interview from Snyder suggests that Superman is still the center of the film. With that, I don’t think we will be seeing much of Batman’s universe, at least in this upcoming film. Although if we do get a B-Man villain, Mr. Freeze would be a good choice. He’s such a great character! As for the Joker… I think he’s been played out, at least recently. I suspect the studio to not go straight for him so soon.

Storytelling is important, but I think people often forget what the video game medium is all about: experiencing something that we couldn’t otherwise. I don’t think that storytelling needs to play a role in that necessarily.

I agree that animation allows artists to do things that say a live-action show couldn’t, but I don’t think it’s any more of an influential medium than anything else. I think what matters is the message and what individual writers are trying to say regardless of the medium.
