We’ve actually discussed this before in my sub major! With the introduction of all these new original Netflix series, and even the recent introduction of movies on Youtube Red, there’s no need for cable television. Our society is so heavily rooted in digital media that it’s much more simple and more accessible to watch content online. Plus, why pay for cable TV where you rarely watch half the stations, when you can pay much less for a Netflix account and you can stream as many shows and movies as you want? Truthfully, it will be sad to see it go, but I’d rather save my money and buy an apple TV where I can access the cable TV shows I do watch, as well as Netflix, Stan, Youtube and more. | Online VS On TV: Is Cable Becoming Obsolete? |
Great argument. I myself only watched the pilot of the show, and never got back around to watching anymore episodes. But from what I’ve heard, the show had a great concept in the beginning, but has since lost sight of it in the past few seasons. I think that if they re-evaluate themselves then they may be able to save the show, otherwise it would be best for them not to renew another season. | Once Upon A Time: A Work of Creative Genius or a Tangled Mess? |
Great article! Absolutely love friends!! In my eyes, it’s one of the greatest television series in history. It’s definitely had a positive impact on my life, and has brought my own friends and I closer together.
