Looking Through Tim Burton’s Big Eyes | |
Awesome article, I knew when I was first reading it it would get a lot of praise. Fury Road marks the next step in action-adventure filmmaking. Hopefully, CGI overload will be replaced with a mix of practical and computer effects. | Mad Max: Practically CGI |
Great article, I have always loved this movie. Michael Mann’s features are a masterclass in technical precision and suspense. He is one of few directors working today to embrace genre conventions overlooked by the general audience. | Public Enemies: The New Breed of Cop and Criminal |
Awesome article, loved the depth of knowledge and personality throughout. It’s a fantastic tale. Glad to see so many people still enjoying and learning from it. | Beowulf’s Transformation into an Unheroic Hero |

Great article, keep it up. I, personally thought Grand Budapest Hotel and Nightcrawler far surpassed Neighbours. | The 10 Best Movies of 2014 |
Great article. Brilliant in-depth analysis!! The industry, in keeping up with film-goer likes and dislikes, is in a mad rush to transition between technological advancements. Soon, the age of CGI could be bested by greater technology making everything just that little bit clearer. However, practical effects will always have their place, as people continually connect with tangibility over the immediate WOW factor. | Avatar's Shock and Awe: Technology, Race, and Space |
Big Tim Burton fan from way back! Been through the rough recently, but hopefully Big Eyes marks the return we’re all waiting for!
