Getter Trumsi

Student by day and a movie-blogger by night, I love to watch movies and TV-shows but not as much as I love writing about them.

Indeed, it does get things wrong but in a long run.. it still has some success.

Still haven’t seen it so can’t really comment on that but I’ve heard the same, not as good as LOTR.

I know what you mean. I guess the style has rubbed off on me from my blog where the first paragraph is always seen on the front page and then I add a second introduction after the jump. It’s a bad writing habit.. but I’ll keep it in mind!

I liked this film a lot and I agree with the fact that the third act lowered the film a bit. Then again, I had a conversation about it and they had the opposite opinion, stating that, in terms of the script, the third act was powerful! Now, I kind of think they were right, because on the level of the script, the story really hits you heavy in act 3 showing the consequences that come from events that happened 15 years ago.. Maybe the fault was in the casting or the length of it all but then again, I don’t care because act 1 and 2 are brilliant!

I can’t really compare it to a lot of things, I don’t watch it, I just know about it. But you should check out couple of episodes, they’re really short.
